The official Colts 1965 highlight film along with an ABC Sports one-hour TV special which goes behind the scenes while following the team through the unforgettable final weeks of the 1965 season.
Narrated by Chuck Thompson, the color highlight film shows the team in games against the Vikings, Bears, Rams, Packers and others throughout the season. The annual Playoff Bowl, a 35-3 Colts win over the Dallas Cowboys is also shown. Colts players from that unforgettable year include Johnny Unitas, Gary Cuozzo, Tom Matte, Raymond Berry, Jimmy Orr, Lenny Moore, John Mackey, Jim Parker, Alex Sandusky, and Lou Michaels.
“Portrait of a Team”, the one-hour ABC Sports documentary, includes all original commercials and is an inside look at the Colts’ quest for the 1965 NFL Western Division. The B & W program is narrated by Chris Schenkel.
