The Kansas City Chiefs defeat the New York Jets 13-6 on Dec. 20, 1969 in frigid conditions at Shea Stadium. The Jets are held to a field goal after getting a first down on the Kansas City one-yard line in the fourth quarter. After the ensuing kickoff, it takes only two passes by Chiefs quarterback Len Dawson to reach the end zone.
